Inescop will be attending SIMAC Tanning Tech in Milan from 15 to 17 September to showcase one of the main outcomes of the European REMAIN project: a robotic cell developed to advance the automation of footwear remanufacturing processes. Visitors will be able to see the demonstrator in Hall 14, Stand E48/F47.
Inescop ha participado en el proceso de validación técnica y funcional de la zapatilla desarrollada por Joma Sport junto a la jugadora profesional de pádel Vero Virseda, mediante ensayos de laboratorio y evaluaciones de uso orientadas a analizar aspectos clave para el rendimiento en pista.
El consorcio de REMAIN, que coordina Inescop, ha mantenido una nueva reunión de trabajo en Francia para analizar la evolución de sus actividades técnicas y coordinar los pasos necesarios de cara a la fase decisiva de un proyecto que culmina el próximo mes de diciembre.
Inescop publica su Memoria de Actividades y Sostenibilidad 2025, un año en el que el centro tecnológico reforzó su papel como aliado estratégico de la industria del calzado, con 640 clientes activos, 45 proyectos de I+D+i ejecutados y 146 colaboradores vinculados a su actividad investigadora.
The International Union of Shoe Industry Technicians (UITIC) has announced that its 23rd International Congress will take place from 2 to 4 August 2027 in Jakarta, Indonesia, in collaboration with KRISTA Exhibition and with the support of APRISINDO, the Indonesian footwear association. The event will once again bring together professionals, researchers, companies and technology suppliers at one of the world’s leading forums dedicated to innovation, technology and the future of the footwear sector.

ECOALF
ECOALF has measured the environmental impact of its footwear at different stages of the life cycle to identify areas for improvement and achieve a carbon neutral footprint by 2030.
Thanks to the LIFE GREENSHOES4ALL project, footwear manufacturing companies are helped to reduce their CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions, reducing their environmental impact and contributing to the development of a sustainable industry.
GLENT
GLENT aimed at positioning its brand into men’s footwear market with bespoke and customised shoes. That is why they resorted to INESCOP and perfectly joined craft manufacture with the most innovative technology applied to the footwear sector, thus producing a high-end handcrafted product.
At present, the firm has its own shop at one of the most prestigious commercial areas of Madrid and is fully involved in online sales thanks to the Web-based footwear configurator.
ARSUTORIA School
The renowned Italian footwear design school, ARSUTORIA School, chose INESCOP’s Icad3D+ software for training in their design classroom, which is integrated in their in-house factory. This makes it possible for students to produce their own prototypes, from the design stage to final production.

INGA 3D
INGA 3D emerged due to the difficulties that European footwear companies faced when trying to employ highly-skilled VET graduates in computer-aided 3D footwear design. For that reason, the project created a training material for footwear CAD and an online platform.
Nowadays, both IED Madrid and the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iaşi (Romania) are teaching with this training material.
