DIAN becomes the first Spanish company to obtain INESCOP’s Quality Label for occupational footwear
Dian, the occupational footwear brand, is the first Spanish company to obtain INESCOP’s Quality Label. This certificate endorses that Dian’s models have been manufactured meeting the requirements that guarantee the superior quality of its footwear.
The company is located in Alicante, with its headquarters in Sax, and is one of INESCOP’s member companies. Dian has obtained the Quality Label for its 1805-LM, 1807-LM and Milán SCL models in white. These are occupational footwear models used in health service and hospitality sector, which also boast the CE Certification according to the Standard EN-ISO-20347.
These three models are the irrefutable proof of Dian’s raison d’être: to provide the highest quality of footwear and solutions to workers, taking care of even the smallest details, in both footwear design and final touches, without forgetting the utmost dedication of the company in its different manufacturing processes.
INESCOP’S QUALITY LABEL: more than just a seal of quality
INESCOP’s certificate is more than just a seal of quality. “We have subjected Dian’s models to various tests and controls. We have also conducted an in-depth analysis of the organisational system of the company, its shoe design and manufacturing processes as well as the resulting products, getting excellent results in controls.”, Ana Torró, INESCOP’s Head of Laboratory, explains.
The models that have obtained this quality label have been subjected to a thorough assessment whereby it has been demonstrated that Dian fulfils the requirements laid down in the Standard UNE 59900, in the international technical reports (ISO/TRs) of different shoe components, and/or other requirements established by INESCOP. Moreover, it has also been verified that Dian has an organisational system capable of guaranteeing its competence to manufacture products that conform to the samples analysed when the company obtained the label.
The QUALITY LABEL can be granted to materials or shoe components separately, but also to finished products such as footwear, thus involving both quality compliance of all shoe components and the finished footwear itself. In this regard, Dian is the first Spanish company to obtain the quality label for occupational footwear that also already has the corresponding CE Certification for use.
