INESCOP participated in the final event of the ELIIT project
The INESCOP team involved in the implementation of the ELIIT project participated in Brussels in the final results presentation event before European Union officers, representatives of the European footwear, leather and textile confederations, and other stakeholders. This 4-year project, under the COSME programme of the European Union, has offered support to SMEs in the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) sectors to improve their competitiveness by helping them to integrate new technologies in innovative or high added value products, processes, or services.
During the event, Dr. Francisca Arán, INESCOP's R&D coordinator, presented to the attendees the entire working methodology implemented by the ELIIT project to select, evaluate and support a total of 25 project proposals that had been submitted jointly by SMEs and technology providers, which have managed to successfully complete their technology transfer processes thanks to the financial support and mentoring received through ELIIT.
Taking advantage of their stay in Brussels, the INESCOP delegation had the opportunity to visit the office of the Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea and meet its team. This foundation’s aim is to defend, represent and promote the interests of the Valencian Region, its institutions, companies, collectives and citizens before the EU.
