INESCOP offers full and individual assistance in the field of adhesion and adhesives, namely studies on customer complaints, resolution of unsticking claims, problem identification, as well as recommendations on materials and processes.

INESCOP provides to the industry its technological knowledge, as well as expertise in coordination and management of projects to yield full advice on R&D&I.


As a Centre for Technology and Innovation, INCESCOP transfers knowledge and carries out research on topics that companies who want to achieve technological improvement cannot undertake in an individual way. In this sense, research is focused on new products and processes, as well as on technological development and innovation, for instance, environmentally-friendly adhesives and their automatic application by robots.

INESCOP coordinates the Secretariat of the National Technical Committee for Standardisation AEN/CTN 143 and belongs to the European Committee for Standardisation CEN/TC 193 in the Working Group that prepares the European standards for adhesives.

Since 2001, INESCOP holds the secretariat of ASEFCA, the Spanish Association of Glues and Adhesives Manufacturers, whose aim is to promote the development of the glue, adhesive and sealant industries, promoting its competitiveness, from suppliers of raw materials to end users. It also coordinates the secretariat of the Spanish Group on Adhesion and Adhesives (GEAA) which was set up within ASEFCA aiming at promoting, increasing and disseminating scientific and technical knowledge on adhesives. Among its members, there are internationally renowned experts from universities, research centres, as well as other manufacturers, users, etc.

TAILORED TRAINING

After more than 25 years of activity, this department is fully qualified to carry out tailored training for companies on bonding technologies, mostly those applied to the footwear sector.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

It also provides advice and individual technical assistance on legislative issues affecting the sector such as the REACH Regulation or the new CLP Regulation (classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures).
